MARS
This project at the time of its first release on Instagram took about 1.5 years before I got enough photos to put together. But is still missing one more image before its complete in my eyes and that is a real photo of Mars.

The Red Night
For this image some friends and I drove to Trona Pinnacles, California during mid summer. To get out of the heat we planned on showing up at sunset and leaving in the morning after we slept. That did not happen. We ended up staying up the entire night shooting the milky way then decided to drive back the 3 hours home at 5:30am.

Martian Sunrise
Far away in the Mojave Desert of California lies Death Valley National Park. A truly remote place that is very void of human interaction as well as had one of the hottest temperatures on Earth at 130F in 2020. This luckily was a winter sunrise.

A World Beyond
One goal I had for this project was to get an aerial shot and this came true when I was headed on a flight to Colorado and flew over the many remote places in between.

Touchdown
Got very lucky while hiking the Narrows in Zion National Park, the waterproof shoes that were rented fit very well with the color of the sand by the river.

The First Night
Once again with our current theme running strong with a sleepless drive from Fort Collins, Colorado to the Great Sand Dunes National Park departing at 1:30am. With the dunes being so exposed we waited all day before deciding to spend the night on them because of the lack of shade and water they contain.
